What is the 20k challenge? It's a number of words that I thought would be a reasonable goal to write each month. A lot of others think it's a good idea as well, as friends of mine set similar goals--most of them without having spoken to me about it; you know what they say about great minds.
Many of us have completed Nanowrimo multiple times, and that's 50,000 words in a month! If we can do that, then why not set a goal of 20,000 every month? It's roughly 5,000 words per week, roughly 666 words per day (or 667, if you prefer). That's not so bad.
This is a page where you can grab a little e-sticker (okay, they're just images, but I put stickers on everything) to show off that you made your 20,000 word goal for a month. They start in January 2008. There's no need to join anything and if you want to retroactively grab stickers because you wrote enough in months previous, go for it. :) You can use a text link to, whatever you like. If you want to link them back here (http://eliza-bee.com/20k/) that's fine; it gives other people a way to see what it is, but you don't have to.
Please save all images to your own server. That means when you type your <img> tag, there should be no mention of http://eliza-bee.com anywhere in it.
